What is going on in these screenshots?

When Abound runs it randomly fills the screen with the number of Stationary Balls (or Pins) that you want, of diffferent sizes that you want.  Then one ball starts falling from the top of the screen and collides into the Pins and walls on the edge of the screen until it comes to rest somewhere, either at the bottom of the screen or in between Pins.

Pretty neat to watch, but a little boring to be honest.  Fortunately, however, you can actually set the number of moving balls you want flying around the screen at one time.  So if you select 10, then one by one, moving balls are born at the top of the screen and start bounding around, but now they are also running into each other as well as the walls and Pins. You will be mesmerized by the simple yet fascinating movement on the screen.

But wait, there is more!  You can also create multiple Black Holes, which act as a swirling vortexes that try to draw the balls into them and engulf them into nether dimensions, never to return.  Even one Black Hole can draw in a tremendous number of balls, and watching the balls try to escape from them is surprisingly interesting.

These screenshots depict different configurations that you can easily set up to explore and be entertained by Abound.  You can choose huge Pins or small ones, or none at all.  Each configuration manifests different engaging behavior.
